Favorite View: A field of (golden) wildflowers in the Powell Marsh Wildlife. With my golden retriever alongside me, this moment makes my heart happy.
Favorite Season: Winter! A season filled with soft sweaters, hot cider, and watching the snow fall out my window. Winter in northern Wisconsin is like living in the dreamiest snow globe. Come visit, you'll understand.
Favorite Trip: Honeymooning in Chile! From hiking and horseback riding in Patagonia, to drinking [too much] wine in the Colchagua Valley and eating fresas for days - with my favorite travel partner + husband, David.
Favorite Way to Start the Day: A cup of coffee + fresh baked donut in hand, I'm in the passenger seat en route to explore a new corner of Wisconsin. // My current favorite corner - Iron County. So many hidden waterfalls, unmarked trails, and ridges with views for miles.
Favorite Breakfast Item: Crispy hash browns. Tip - grow your own potatoes, shred + prepare them to be frozen, and cook them extra long. They're worth every second of extra work.

Favorite View: Sunset at WinMan Trails. Ski the 2.5km trail from the chalet to the top of the hill to watch the sunset, then finish the rest of the trail by headlamp. End the night back at the chalet with cocoa (spiked or not) and conversation by the fire.
Favorite Trip: A 16-day trek into the Himalayas to Everest Base Camp. I once read that the Himalayas are the “closest place on Earth to the heavens” – it’s true, both literally and figuratively. It was the most humbling experience of my life.
Favorite Dish to Bring to A Party: Cheese plate - you can’t go wrong with cheese, nuts, fruit, and crackers. Try: plain goat cheese with a drizzle of local honey and a sliced Honey Crisp apple.
Favorite Season: No contest – I share Becca’s love of winter in the North. Snowshoeing, cross country skiing, frozen lakes, cozy fires, and watching the falling snow blanket the towering pines in silence. Magic.
