For The Locals
Hey local 715 area code friends! If you're anything like us, sometimes it's hard to follow all the people on social media, catch the important bits in the newspaper, and discover exactly what's happening in neighboring towns that suits your interest. So we've compiled a few of our favorite things that are happening around the area, along with our sources of local happenings + events, to help you get out and uncover a new nook + cranny.
Fall colors are peaking this week - so get outside and enjoy! Find our favorite overlooks for fall colors here + pick up a few essentials for the cabin. If you need a cabin to stay in for the weekend, check out our Cozy Cabin Guide.
the season for Yoga
With summer in the rearview mirror, it seems like we all crave movement and foods that simple feel good. We (B+E) both love yoga - from a power vinyasa class to a slow + gentle flow - and there's plenty happening around the Northwoods!

Studio 715 (located by the Post Office) offers a few classes a week, taught by Breia Tlusty + Elizabeth Gering.

Celebrate cranberry season this weekend, October 6th-8th! The 38th Annual Cranberry Fest is happening in Eagle River - crafts, food, and all things cranberry. In Manitowish Waters, we're celebrating the season with Cran-A-Rama at the Manitowish Waters Community Center. Take a farm tour, cruise the Manitowish Chain on a pontoon tour, or test your luck in the cranberry cooking contest. Hint: you might know a few of the judges - yours truly. If local events aren't your thing, be part of the harvest celebration in a few other ways - here are our suggestions.
